ReplyDeleteWill defenatly try making the bubble dress. Thank you for sharing that!
Thank you! If you finished the dress, perhaps you can send me a little pic? Then I'll post it on my blog with a link to your blog :-)
DeleteI might try the doll bassinet for my girls for Christmas. You make very beautiful, modern clothes for your girl. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI just completed the first bubble dress about a month ago! I love it and every one else did too! I added a few touches to it! You can check it out on my blog http://desiringtobetitus2.blogspot.com DIY- Been there done it!
ReplyDeleteI would so love the pattern for this dress too! I have a new fondness for bubble hems!!! Thanks! I love your blog by the way!
Jaci
Thanks for you nice comments, Jaci. Your version of the bubble dress is so cute! If you want the Peplum Bubble Dress pattern, just send me a little email and I'll reply with the pattern (straightgrainblog[at]gmail.com)
DeleteAbout how big is the finished bassinet pattern? I was going to make this as a Christmas gift for my niece and she has a wide range of different size dolls, the biggest being about the size of a real newborn baby. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteMegan
Hi Megan, I measured the bassinet and it is about 18.5 inches on the inside. So for a doll the size of a newborn baby, you woul have to make the bassinet a bit longer...
ReplyDeleteThe link/instructions for the dress with pleats and piping isn't there. Can you check on that? It's so cute and I'd like to give it a try
ReplyDeleteTHANKS , Eva
I'm sorry, Eva! The link has been restored. Kind regards, an.

ReplyDeleteThere is a little girls on the right side of this page with a green top or dress on. I love the way it is sewn on the bodice. Did you make that or do you have a larger picture so I can get an idea of how to make my own pattern to sew it? Love all your ideas. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're probably referring to the button for La Inglesita, a Spanish sewing blog? I think she used this Oliver + s pattern: http://oliverands.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SRCH. Thank you for the nice comments!
